A New Home

Ok time to put more pics on here before I forget how. Heres the first 3 months in Nelson. First we went 'over the hill' to check out their beaches.

Then lots of fun walks around Nelson. Look an argalite mine honey, how exciting (more fun mines to come).

Luckily we discovered Rabbit Island, perfect beachyness only 20 mins away. Sadly Steve and Shanti's new bivouac wasn't entirely waterproof.

Christmas tree 'found' at Rabbit island.

Here it is our new home, yipee!!

Lovely big garden with three tree orchard next to veggie patch. Everything a kiwi man could wish for (as long as he already had the Rugby channel).

No sooner had we moved in than we took off. A bit of culture first, enough for all here in Welly.

Aha that's what we need a Kombi! How'd they get this one on the roof of Te Papa?

How does this work?

Hopefully when I click publish you will see a picture of me on the Barbary (Errol Flynn's old boat) doing the sites of Lake Taupo. If not then I haven't worked this site out yet, it said create your blog in just 5 mins, 17 and counting.
Ok I was close I think you got a photo of some rockcarvings instead, but as these are much better looking than me its no great loss. For my next trick adding photos of snowy Tongariro, Whakapapa ski field and look out for Ruapehu in the car's wing mirror.

These piccys are from September 2006, my second week in New Zealand in and around the home town of Steve (Taupo). (I'm completly new to Kiwi living but have the rest of my life to get used to it as I'm marrying one.) This could take a while to get upto date so I'd better find out how to put in photo albums.
